Parmet's main tool for self expression has always been the camera. However, her love of painting, sculpture, and literature have also skewed her art practices toward a more experimental approach. Her meditation practice has also offered a prism through which the things of this world lose their solidity. The results of these converging interests are the Guardians, Altared States, Spirit in Flesh and The Things Hands Hold.
